Leda: wife accused of murdering husband

A MOTHER of five will return to court next week charged with the murder of her husband and attempted murder of two of her sons.

Cara Lee Hall, 36, allegedly murdered her husband, Glenn Hall, 33 and injured two of her sons at their Leda home on Sunday morning.

Police were called to the Glastonbury Street property around 6.30am where they found Mr Hall’s body and two of the couple’s children with wounds believed to be sustained in the attack.

The other two children in the house escaped physical injury.

Mrs Hall’s daughter does not reside at the same address.

The accused appeared at Perth Magistrate’s Court on Monday and was remanded in custody to a secured ward at Graylands Hospital.

She is due to appear in Stirling Garden Magistrate’s court on December 16.

Mrs Hall is a former Sunday school teacher and her four boys were aged four, seven, nine and 11.

In wake of the incident, the Kwinana community has banded together with one resident starting a GoFundMe to support the children. In one day it has raised almost $2500. Those who wish to donate can do so here Fundraiser .

People are also donating Christmas gifts for the children. Donations can be made at Darius Wells Centre at Victory House. They will be accepted every Sunday between now and Christmas from 9am to 10am.
