Life-long endeavour to help out

Vanessa SchmittWeekend Kwinana Courier

Despite working as a school officer at Endeavour Schools in Port Kennedy and helping with her husband's business, she has always found time to help others.

When her children were babies, she would push her pram around the streets of Rockingham to raise funds for the Red Shield Appeal. Now she supports her 93-year-old father, who is living alone.

For Mother's Day she walked to fundraise in a breast cancer appeal.

Mrs Land's next venture is walking 60km as part of the Weekend to End Women's Cancer next April.
