RESIDENTS are encouraged to take part in a free community fitness program in Baldivis.
Frasers Property Australia is launching the Live Life Get Active program on Thursday, July 28.
Championed by former Olympian Jane Flemming, the Live Life Get Active program is an outdoor fitness program that will provide free 45-minute fitness camps every weekday at 9.30am in Baldivis Parks’ Central Park on Daintree Street.
The program is designed so all members of the community, regardless of age, fitness level, motivation or experience can benefit from the real-world advice, education and support of a fully qualified Live Life Get Active trainer.
The weekly schedule includes a mix of yoga, cross training and boxing sessions.
Flemming said the program provides simple health, fitness and nutritional education both online and in active camps held in parks, suburbs and cities across Australia.
“Live Life Get Active is about getting more people active in their local community and providing them with a range of activities and advice that will positively change their lifestyles,” she said.
Participants should register online to attend and will also receive a tailored nutrition plan to supplement their Live Life Get Active fitness goals.
All equipment is provided and participants are welcome to attend as many sessions as they like.
