WA has recorded more Lotto luck with a Division 1 Saturday Lotto ticket sold in Rockingham at the weekend.

The winning ticket – sold at Rockingham Central Lottery Centre – is worth more than $1 million and is the 53rd division one win for the State.

This is the second division one ticket sold at that outlet this year.

Store owner Marie Alexander said she was shocked to learn that her store had sold the ticket.

“There must be something in the water because we actually sold a division one winning ticket worth over $1 million back in February,” Mrs Alexander said.

“The win marks the sixth division one winning ticket sold here in just over five years.”

Mrs Alexander said Rockingham’s lucky streak didn’t stop at Lotto tickets with the store recently selling a scratchie that bagged a lucky local $200,000.

“I crunched some numbers out of curiosity and over the past five years, Rockingham Central Lottery Centre has returned an incredible $6 million in division one prize money,” she said.

Lotterywest recently provided $900,000 to the City of Rockingham toward the construction of Baldivis South Community Centre.
