Man charged over alleged violent incident in Baldivis

POLICE have charged a man over an incident in which a man was allegedly stabbed outside a Baldivis McDonald’s outlet on Monday night.

Police say two men became involved in a verbal agreement with four other males inside the restaurant about 10.20pm.

The group of four left the store and walked towards Norseman Approach when they were followed by the two males.

A physical altercation allegedly occurred, resulting in three people receiving injuries.

They were conveyed to three different hospitals, one in critical condition with alleged stab wounds, but his condition has since stabilised.

He remains in hospital, as does another man who suffered a head injury.

An 18-year-old from Baldivis has been charged with two counts of going armed in a manner to cause fear, one count of threats to kill and one count of possessing an article with intent.

He is due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, 14 March 2018.
