Vanessa SchmittWeekend Kwinana Courier

POLICE airwing and police dog Rumble helped in a significant arrest in Baldivis last night.

At about 9.30pm, officers attended an area near the intersection of Fifty Road and Mandurah Road following the reported sighting of a man wanted for questioning by police over a number of offences around the metropolitan area.

Officers from Regional Operations Group, Kwinana Police and the Dog Squad attended the area, with support from Police Airwing.

Rumble was deployed and tracked a scent into nearby bushland. Upon approaching the man, he surrendered himself and was arrested without incident.
