“I’m standing as Scott Morrison’s Liberal candidate in Brand because it is time that Brand had truly local representation from a person who understands what it is like to run a small business and raise a family right here,” he said.

“All of our previous local members have not lived locally and I think that should change.

“I’ve lived in Brand almost 30 years – all my married life – and I’m proud to have contributed to the local community through my children’s school council, by building homes across our suburbs and employing a number of people and sub-contractors in my local small business.

“When I’m out in the local community, people are concerned about everyday costs, making ends meet, putting food on the table and paying bills.

“The Morrison government has a plan to deliver 1.2 million jobs Australia wide and tackle youth unemployment, which is crucial in our electorate.”

He said people should vote for him because of his passion for the community.
