Men charged over death of woman left outside Joondalup Health Campus

POLICE have charged two men with murder over the death a Secret Harbour mother who was left outside Joondalup Health Campus in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Peta Fairhead (27) died shortly after she was discovered at the hospital’s emergency department about 3:15am on Wednesday.

Major Crime Squad detectives have charged two men, aged 19 and 20, over the matter.

The men have been charged with one count of murder, three counts of kidnapping and three counts of armed robbery.

They are due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court today.

In a heart felt tribute to her friend, Danielle Hayden described Ms Fairhead as someone “always smiling and laughing”.

Ms Fairhead leaves behind three children and a partner.

Detectives have identified a third person they wish to speak with.

This person is aware they are attempting to locate him and police have urged the person to contact them.
