A MIDLAND man will face court today after a police negotiator was called in to talk him down off the roof of a house yesterday.

Rockingham detectives visited a house on Sandgate Boulevard in Baldivis yesterday to speak with a man about an ongoing investigation.

Police claim the man fled the house when detectives arrived, jumping over two neighbouring fences before climbing onto the roof of a house.

A police negotiator attended the scene and the man surrendered without incident.

The 27-year-old has been charged with aggravated burglary, stealing, stealing a motor vehicle, beach of bail and trespass.

He will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
