More roadworks ahead for area

Staff ReporterWeekend Kwinana Courier

Present traffic conditions include closure of Baldivis Road north of Mundijong Road, traffic signals on Millar Road and reduced speeds on Mandurah Road. However, it will change once more in February as stage two of works begin. The Baldivis Road intersection will reopen, while Mundijong Road north of Millar Road will open to divert traffic back to Mandurah Road, which will be closed north of Millar Road to create a new intersection.

These conditions are expected to be in place until May, with stage three then beginning, the new intersection on Mandurah Road opening and Millar Road west of the intersection being closed to all except local traffic.

Throughout stage three, access to the Millar Road Waste Facility will be via Baldivis Road only.

From June onwards, the new Mundijong Road extension is planned to open, with Millar Road West between Mundijong Road and Mandurah Road remaining closed and being open only to service vehicles.
