A STUNNING new all-ages, all-abilities adventure park will open in Baldivis this August, part of the new Cedar Wood’s estate ‘Rivergums’.

The Rivergums Adventure Park will be the first in the estate and will create a ‘monster’s world’ – featuring timber play equipment including balance logs and steppers, stone boulders, timber climbing stacks and musical play equipment such as thongophone and log chimes.

There will be a monster’s nest with an 8m-high climbing tower, a crossing rope bridge, a 9m slide and ascending structures through the dry creek bed to create a mystical and mysterious playground.

Plan E Landscape Architects’ Ryan Lucy said The Rivergums Adventure Park had been designed to provide an adventurous play area for children to explore.

“Set amongst groves of Eucalyptus trees, The Rivergums Adventure Park will create a monster’s world for little adventurers to imagine, explore and create stories,” Mr Lucy said.

Cedar Woods Ssate manager Ben Rosser said the new adventure park will become a destination for local families.

“We’re thrilled to offer this unique experience for children in the area and provide over 900 families who call The Rivergums home with a place to play, meet and connect with other families in the area,” Mr Rosser said.

“The adventure park will feature a mix of natural elements and modern design equipment – and I am sure parents will be pleased to hear there will be plenty of shade around from retrained trees, lots of seating and dedicated picnic areas for a great day out.”

The Rivergums estate in Baldivis is on the corner of Rivergums Boulevard and Crinia Drive.
