New apartments in Wellard

City of Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams and Deputy Mayor Peter Feasey attended the turning of the sod last week.

Ms Adams said the partnership between developers and government was an important one.

“It’s essential that new developments have the infrastructure and services which a modern community demands, and the Village at Wellard is a great example of the outcomes that can be achieved when developers and government work well together,” she said.

“With access to public transport, shops, schools, a medical and community centre, it’s clear why so many people choose to live in the area.
