New chaplain gets warm welcome from school

Members of the clergy, City of Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams and councillors joined with staff, students and parents at Ms Simms’ ceremony.

She said the ceremony moved her.

“It marked my formal arrival here at the school, but also allowed me to meet a great many people from the local area – clergy, students, family members and others,” she said.

“Everyone was very welcoming and I would like to thank all involved and say how much I am looking forward to working within the school and local communities.”
