Old Actors Never Die is coming to Rockingham Theatre

THE Mount Home for Retired Theatricals is an unusual place – more like a country house hotel than a home for the elderly.

As Jules Sullivan (Sue Murray) says, “waited on hand and foot – no meals to prepare – beds made”.

Manager Ann Thompson (Helen Brown) encourages residents to carry on |working as long as they can.

So when Walter Neville (Rex Gray) a small-part veteran of 212 films, arrives, he is overjoyed to find some of his best friends in residence.

All is well until Edmund Sullivan (Ian Butcher), the serial womaniser and former husband of residents Jules Sullivan, Phyllida Sullivan (Beryl Francis) and Rebecca Sullivan (Sue Walker) turns up, apparently on the run from Russian mafia boss Mike Molinsky (Jason Wall), supported by his two sidekicks Ivana (Jacki Gahan) and Irina (Tegan Breann Joyce), the ladies decide that he who pays the bills must be rescued.
