POLICE were called to a crash in Partridge Street, Orelia, at 8.30pm on Sunday night.
The information officers received was that a car had crashed into a wall, and the occupants were trying to leave the scene.
Police attended and found a Ford Falcon had struck a fence and crashed into a limestone wall.
A 29-year-old man, believed to be the driver, was found to have a leg injury and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital by St John Ambulance.
No one else from the car was at the scene, although police believe one or more passengers left after the crash, leaving the injured driver behind.
The vehicle has been seized, pending further investigation. Inquiries are continuing.
