A GROUP of Kwinana residents are banding together to improve their community.

Co-ordinator Jins James said living in Kwinana was a pleasure, as well as a great responsibility to enhance the beauty of nature.

“As a first step, myself along with my friends created a Facebook group, Our Kwinana, for the betterment of this place,” he said.

“I would like to take this opportunity to invite each and everyone to this page and raise concerns, discuss and organise innovative ideas.

“As a group, we might be able to help each other and build a strong society.”

On Tuesday, the group held a blood drive, where members donated blood at the Rockingham Blood Donor Centre.

Tomorrow, the group will hold a clean-up at Wildflower Reserve in Orelia from 10.30am.
