Pair charged over pizza delivery robbery

TWO teenagers from Orelia have been charged following an incident involving a pizza delivery driver in Parmelia last night.

Rockingham Detectives said that at 7.20pm last night, a 32-year-old pizza delivery driver from Bertram was approached by the pair when he attended an address on Woodley Way.

It will be alleged the 19-year-old male produced a knife and demanded cash from the victim, who fled from the area.

The offender then allegedly entered the victim's car and stole hi wallet and a cash bag containing a small amount of cash.

The male was charged with aggravated armed robbery and is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court today.

His 17-year-old female accomplice was charged with aggravated armed robbery and is due in Rockingham Children's Court on September 2.
