Pair of teens may have been threatened with gun in Rockingham

POLICE believe two teenagers may have been threatened with a handgun in Rockingham this morning.

At about 8.30am, two 15-year-old boys were walking through an alleyway near Columbus Close when two males riding bikes and wearing masks approached them.

The offenders threatened the victims with an item, which police believe may have been a handgun, and demanded they hand over their property.

The boys handed over their mobile phones and one of the victims had his bicycle with him, which was also taken.

The two offenders rode off, while steering the stolen bike, and headed down an alleyway toward Read Street.

They were described as being about 18 years of age and one was wearng a grey hooded jacket and grey tracksuit pants, wearing a green paintball type mask.

The other was wearing green goggles and black gloves.
