JARROD Fraser was thrilled to see a penguin at the jetty in Rockingham this morning.

Mr Fraser took photos of the penguin swimming at about 10am.

“Not very often you walk along the jetty in Rockingham and spot a penguin,” he said.

Penguin Island is about 660m from Rockingham and has a colony of about 1200 little penguins. It is the largest population of the birds in WA.
