Person being treated for smoke inhalation following Port Kennedy house fire

A NEIGHBOUR raised the alarm this morning after they saw smoke coming from a Port Kennedy home.

The fire started at 10.15am on Bluefields Parkway and was put out by 10.40am.

A woman in her twenties escaped the blaze and was treated for smoke inhalation by St John Ambulance at the scene.

Four fire crews, from Secret Harbour, Rockingham, Success and Hope Valley attended.
