Pinjarra Teens Charged Following Bottle Shop Raid

Teenagers from Pinjarra were among a group charged with stealing from a bottle shop yesterday.

The youngest teenager was 13-years-old.

Around 3:30pm on January 17, police were advised that a group of people had gone into a liquor store on Rockingham Road, taken items from the shelves and run out of the store.

Cockburn Police and Fremantle Detectives conducted patrols of the area and two groups of people were found.

The following people were charged with one count of stealing – two a 42-year-old women from Leda, a 15-year-old boy from Pinjarra, a 15-year-old girl from Waikiki, a 14-year-old boy from Merredin and a 13-year-old girl from Pinjarra.

They will be appearing in court at a later date.
