THERE was lots of swashbuckling action at two Rockingham libraries this week as Captain Boots the pirate took his hearty band of pirates on some rollicking adventures.

Young would-be pirates joined Captain Boots playing sword fights and rope activities at the Warnbro and Safety Bay libraries.

The youngsters also enjoyed running amok with some imaginary monkeys. Captain Boots was making his first visit to Rockingham and is set to perform at the Fringe World festival in Perth.
