Police claim three men were assaulted during a burglary in Waikiki

ROCKINGHAM Detectives have charged two men following an incident in Waikiki yesterday.

At about 3pm, the males were involved in an altercation with occupants of house in Tana Court.

It is alleged during the incident three people have been assaulted by the men.

Two victims were taken to Rockingham Hospital for treatment to their injuries, a 22-year-old man from Coodanup and 26-year-old man from Waikiki.

A 19-year-old man (no address) has been charged with aggravated burglary and with intent to cause grievous bodily harm unlawfully wounds another.

A 20-year-old man (no address) has been charged with aggravated burglary, assault occasioning bodily harm and two counts of with intent to cause grievous bodily harm unlawfully wounds another.

Both were due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.
