Police on hunt for arsonist who set fire to Baldivis home

POLICE are searching for an arsonist believed to have set a Baldivis home on fire and caused an estimated $40,000 in damages.

Just after 8pm last night, police officers and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a house fire on Starflame Road.

The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious and Rockingham Detectives are investigating.

The fire caused an estimated $40,000 damage.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
