A 28-year-old man who was injured is in custody in hospital and has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle; drove, caused or permitted a vehicle with a forged, replica or false plate to be driven on a road; no authority to drive (never held) and possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property. It is likely a bedside hearing will take place today.

Detectives attended a house in Secret Harbour after reports of a shooting incident at around 12.30pm yesterday.

On arrival, police found damage to a window that appeared to have been caused by a projectile.

Further inquiries by detectives led them to three other locations, Harmony Avenue in Atwell, Cawana Parkway in Lakelands and the carpark of a local hospital in Mandurah.
