ROCKINGHAM Detectives have released a composite image (above) of a person wanted after making a suspicious approach of a child in Baldivis on Friday, February 23.

Between 3pm and 3.30pm, a seven-year-old girl was riding her scooter through a grassed area from Stillwater Drive to Kennedia Circuit, when she was approached by two males.

One of the males grabbed her scooter and threw it a distance away, while the other spoke to her.

One of the men (pictured) was described as about 18 to 30 years old, sightly tanned complexion, blonde/light brown shaggy hair, medium build, wearing a dirty white T-shirt and dark shorts, was seated in an old white Corolla vehicle and had a distinctive owl tattoo on his calf.

Detectives are asking anyone who was in the area between 3pm and 4pm who has dash cam or CCTV footage to contact them.
