A PORT Kennedy man (83) died after a crash in Bedfordale yesterday afternoon .
Major Crash officers are investigating the fatal traffic crash on Albany Highway, near the Canning Dam Road intersection, at about 3.14pm.
A gold Ford Fairlane sedan, travelling north on Albany Highway, collided head-on with a white Holden Commodore sedan, travelling in the opposite direction.
St John Ambulance paramedics, under police escort, rushed the driver of the Ford sedan to Royal Perth Hospital. Tragically he died a short time later from the injuries he received in the crash.

St John Ambulance paramedics also took the 52-year-old driver of the Holden Commodore to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
