Port Kennedy: man and woman charged with drug, gun offences

TWO people have been charged with drug and gun offences after police executed a search warrant at an address on Delaney Parkway in Port Kennedy yesterday.

Police allege that during the search they found about 33.2g of methylamphetamine, a glock pistol, several weapons including a flick knife and baton, more than $4000 in cash and various drug paraphernalia.

A 33-year-old man and 46-year-old woman have been charged with possession of a prohibited drug with intent to sell of supply.

They have also been charged with having ready access to both weapons and illegal drugs, possessing a firearm with circumstances of aggravation, unlicensed possession of a firearm/ammunition, two counts of possessing a prohibited weapon and one count of possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property.

They are both due to appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today.
