CORE Medical staff and other businesses at Stargate Shopping Centre in Port Kennedy did their bit for cancer research by taking part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Tuesday.

The event featured morning tea and a fundraising raffle.

All donations from the national event go towards helping local Cancer Council branches achieve the mission of a cancer free future. Funds go towards research, support services, prevention programs and advocacy.

Last year, $11.9 million was raised. This year is the 25th anniversary of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
