Port Kennedy Taekwondo Oh Do Kwan bring home medals from national championships

Black belt Rodney Hartmann (16) won three fights to take gold and be selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Championships in Canada in November before flying to Fiji for the Oceania Championships.

Fellow black belt Alana Broomer (14) won her two fights, also securing a position on the team for Fiji.

Anther black belt Tiala Skey won bronze in the 33-37kg division, while Kate Fisher, Ben Hartmann and Jamie Gaymer performed well.

Coloured belts Mia Dolan, Chloe Skey and Jesse Tippet won gold with Beckham Wilkinson winning silver and Jack Martin impressing.

Coach Anita Tippet got a call up at national level, selected as Australian coach for the Junior World Championships and Oceania Championships.

She said she was proud of her team and their efforts.
