Port Kennedy teen charged after car crashes into a Warnbro house

A PORT Kennedy teenager has been charged after a car crashed into a Warnbro house last night.

Police said a Holden Commodore utility was travelling along Glenelg Close at about 11pm and the driver lost control and crashed into a house.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the crash and no one was injured.

The driver fled on foot and was later apprehended at a Warnbro house.

An 18-year-old man has been charged with exceeding 0.05g alcholol per 100g of blood and driver failed to report an incident in which property was damaged.

He is due to appear in Rockingham Magistrates Court on September 18.
