Port Kennedy: teens threatened at knifepoint for scooter keys

DETECTIVES are looking for two men who held up a pair of teens at knifepoint for a set of scooter keys in a Port Kennedy park last month.

Rockingham Detectives are investigating the robbery that occurred on Australia Day at 10.30am.

The victim, a 17-year-old boy met with a friend in a park adjacent to Nunton Place and Benbecula Loop.

He travelled to the park on his 2015 white Her Chee scooter.

While speaking to his friend he heard someone try and start his scooter and found the two men.

One had his scooter and the other had a second scooter.

One demanded the keys to the victim’s scooter and produced a knife.

The victim and his friend refused to give them the keys and the two men left with the scooter.

The men were described as fair-skinned males.

The first was in his early to mid-20s, 180cm tall, with a slim build, yellow coloured hair and star-shaped tattoos on his neck. He was wearing a Gucci cap.

The second was 157 cm tall with a stocky build and short black hair. He was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt.
