Port Kennedy woman’s volunteer work recognised

PORT Kennedy resident Jenny MacLeod has been made a patron of Prayer Groups for Schools in WA (PFSWA).

Ms MacLeod was recognised for her ministry during a chapel service at Bethanie Waters.

She was praised for her enthusiasm in teaching Scripture and mentoring children.

Christmas presenters continue to visit local schools through the legacy of Ms MacLeod’s efforts.

She was the PFSWA spokesperson and the State coordinator for 10 years.

Bethanie Waters Chaplain Barry Austin said despite her cerebral palsy (since birth) and Parkinson’s disease, Ms MacLeod had led an active life volunteering.
