Prescribed burns in Rockingham to bring haze

ROCKINGHAM residents are reminded not to be alarmed if it gets a bit hazy tomorrow.

Increased smoke is expected from a hazard reduction burn on bushland between Patterson Road and Dixon Road, Rockingham.

It will be conducted by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and include local brigades.

The burn will start about 10am and will continue throughout the afternoon to early evening.

Residents are warned there may be substantial smoke in the area.
