Quick visit for a celebration

Her visit is part of International Women’s Day celebrations. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is Pledge for Parity.

“The International Women’s Day theme to celebrate women’s achievements and call for gender parity ties in so well with VIEW’s ethos,” president Mabel Laidlaw said.

“Our members have really got behind IWD this year.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring together women from across Rockingham to celebrate the achievements of women and have their voices heard.

“Throughout the year members are very active in using their collective voice on a whole range of issues critical for the future wellbeing of Australian society.”
