Taking the message of mens health issues to the streets, the RAC is encouraging West Australians to post a selfie on the RAC Facebook page or tag them in a tweet posing with one of its Mo vans during November.
RAC general manager motoring Mark Weller said Movember was highly relevant to RAC staff.
Most of our patrols are men, which is why this campaign is so important to us. This campaign allows us to bring mens health issues to the forefront and talk about them with our staff and our members, he said.
A number of our patrol staff have survived prostate cancer and it affects everyone: colleagues, friends and family.
For each selfie uploaded or tweeted, RAC will donate $5 to help raise money for mens cancer. Those less narcissistically inclined can simply donate directly to the cause by going to Movember.
