Red Cross appeals for generosity

Safety Bay Red Cross will be at Waikiki and Warnbro shopping |centres collecting for the appeal with a goal of raising $2 million nationally.

Secretary Carol Morrison said the money raised would help fund the everyday work of the Red Cross including training volunteers to help prepare for and respond to disasters.

‘Please give generously. Every little bit helps to ensure Red Cross can continue to run vital programs for vulnerable people locally, throughout Australia and the world,’ she said.

The Safety Bay Red Cross welcomes new members. It meets every month at 1.30pm.
