Baldivis resident, Perth Reds member, will Abseil For Princess Margaret Hospital Fundraiser

The Baldivis resident is taking part in the annual Abseil for Princess Margaret Hospital fundraiser, which starts today and runs through to Sunday.

Participants will abseil down the 28-storey Woodside Plaza building in the CBD in a bid to raise funds to help WA’s sick and injured children.

Mr Hunt will take part in the fundraiser with four other members of the Perth Reds, a group of supporters dedicated to famous English soccer team Manchester United.

‘I have not abseiled since high school, but loved the feeling,’ the 32-year-old said.

‘What better way to get back into it than by raising money for a good cause.

‘We at the Perth Reds raised funds for Princess Margaret Hospital via an auction last year in our inaugural year and this year thought we’d try something different.

‘Raising money for children and their families afflicted with illness is a cause close to the hearts of most people.’

He said the group hoped to raise more than $7000.
