Resident injured as car ploughs through front yards in Rockingham

A DRIVER has left the road on a notorious bend and ploughed through the front yards of multiple homes, injuring one resident.

The accident, which occurred on Parkin Street Rockingham around two thirty this afternoon, took place on a section of road previously signed as a 40kilometer per hour bend, the sign has been recently knocked down.

Emergency services are on the scene with traffic being diverted from the area.
