Port Kennedy Drive has also been closed from Bakewell Drive to the intersection with Ennis Avenue.

The closure will remain in place for up to three months, during which time there will be no access into or out of Port Kennedy via Port Kennedy Drive. Signed detours are in place via Anstey Drive and Safety Bay Road to ensure local access is maintained.

Traffic management and speed reductions of 60km/h are in place along Ennis Avenue, with traffic diverting to a single lane in both directions between Royal Palm Drive and Stakehill Road.

This project, undertaken by Main Roads WA, will transform the current T-junction into a new "seagull" configuration, with traffic signals controlling all right-turn movements and giving priority to Ennis Avenue traffic.
