Rockingham: 73yo man charged with historic child sexual offences

ROCKINGHAM detectives have charged a 73-year-old man with historic child sexual offences.

It will be alleged the man was a Catholic Marist Brother teaching at a primary school in 1982 when he indecently assaulted a boy who was 10 years old at the time of the first incident.

The man has been charged with two counts of the indecent treatment of a child under 14 years of age. He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today .
