BUSINESSES across the region are gearing up for the most prestigious event on the Rockingham Kwinana Chamber of Commerce (RKCC) calendar.

The 2017 RKCC Mineral Resources Regional Business Awards is next Saturday, August 26 and will recognise business excellence in the community.

RKCC chief executive Tony Solin said the nomination and application process for the business awards were intensive for each entry.

“The Chamber acknowledges everyone who nominated and submitted entries this year as it is quite an honour to be recognised within the community,” he said.

The winners will be announced at the function at Gary Holland Community Centre.
