PEOPLE eating burgers has resulted in a $300 boost for Rockingham Beach Education Support Centre.

The money was donated through the Grill’d Restaurant Locals Matter Program, where diners are able to vote for their chosen community project by placing tokens in a jar.

Principal Margaret Keen said the Grill’s Rockingham team donated burgers to the 52 children and 24 staff who attended the school camp.

“They travelled the distance to Landsdale Farm school to cook us all a magnificent lunch,” Ms Keen said.
