THE Rockingham Beach Foreshore will be open to the public from Saturday, December 8 to Sunday, February 17.
Visitors and local businesses will be able to take advantage of the warmer weather.
Short stay parking will be available in bays along either side of Railway Terrace and four new disabled parking bays will be available on Rockingham Beach Road. There will also be two drop-off pick-up bays.

READ NOWThe site offices, construction fencing and construction equipment will all be removed over the break, allowing visitors easy access to Churchill Park, the beach, and the local businesses.
Construction will recommence on-site from Monday, February 18 and will be completed by the end of September 2019.
Access throughout the Boardwalk will remain and steps to the beach will be open. The first tier of the new terrace in front of The Boardwalk will also be accessible.
City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels is encouraging visitors to head down to the foreshore over the summer break.
“The Rockingham Beach Foreshore Revitalisation is one of the most exciting projects ever undertaken in the City and will change the face of the foreshore precinct as we know it,” he said.
“The summer shutdown is a great chance for visitors to head down to the foreshore to check out the progress that’s been made so far.
“It’s also a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to take advantage of the increase in visitors, so we encourage residents to visit the foreshore and support the wide range of shops, restaurants and cafes.”
Over the summer break the City will host its usual New Year’s Eve and Australia Day celebrations, with thousands expected to attend the festivities.
