Rockingham boys charged over alleged stealing incidents across two days

POLICE have charged two Rockingham boys with several burglaries after they allegedly stole money, jewellery and small electronic devices at private homes and a primary school.

Police believe the two boys committed several burglaries in the Rockingham area, during the day, on Saturday May 5 and Sunday May 6.

An 11-year-old Cooloongup boy was charged with aggravated home burglary, burglary and commit, and two counts of stealing.

A Seiko watch that was taken and returned to its owner.

A 10-year-old Rockingham boy was charged with attempted aggravated home burglary with intent, two counts of aggravated home burglary and commit, aggravated burglary and commit, and three counts of stealing.

Both boys will appear in Rockingham Children’s Court on June 6.

Some electrical items, cash and jewellery were recovered.

A watch belonging to a victim’s deceased husband was found and was returned by police.

The victim has her property returned by Constable Larson-Pearse.
