ROCKINGHAM celebrant Rebecca O’Sullivan was thrilled to preside over the second early-approved same sex marriage in Perth.

Ms O’Sullivan said it was an emotional moment for her to wed Jodie Needham and Jennifer Porter on Rottnest Island.

“It was a very special moment for me,” she said.

“To help them realise their dream was very important.”

Ms O’Sullivan said it was a beautiful wedding and the crowd of about 50 people were excited to part of a legal same-sex ceremony.

She said the couple booked their wedding about 18-months-ago and family members travelled from as far away as England to attend.
