Mrs Coote said she hoped her audience would be encouraged to embrace the richness and diversity of the region’s natural wonders, above, on and below the water.

“I wanted to immerse others in the adventures we’re so fortunate to have right on our doorstep,” she said.

“Rockingham is so full of incredible wildlife and the scenic beauty of this location is truly world class.

“Working in film and photography since the age of fifteen with award winning tourism company, Rockingham Wild Encounters, I’ve always had an inspiring passion to share nature and ocean adventures with others, especially my family.”

Told through the eyes of her two year old daughter Isla Ocean, the film is a nature epic that fully delivers on the sensory beauty of WA, delving into the stunning wildlife of dolphins, penguins, pelicans and sea lions.

Engagingly filmed and edited, it is a cinematic experience that pulls viewers out of the daily grind and invites them to question how you can also have these incredible adventures.

“Swimming with the local wild dolphins for more than 10 years with Rockingham Wild Encounters, I’ve had some of the most incredible experiences of my life and through video, I’ve been lucky enough to share that with others, who could only dream of such encounters,” said Mrs Coote.

“I wanted to explore an emotive journey from my daughter’s perspective, full of wonder, adventure and reverence for nature through a child’s eyes and I’m very excited about the opportunities the film has now presented.”

Winning the 2017 Australia and New Zealand Drone Film Festival has also attracted the attention of major event sponsor Thai Airways. Airline representatives are keen for Sarah to use her artistic cinematography flare to capture a promotional video while visiting Thailand.
