THREE organisations are in the running to win a share of $5000 as part of Telstra’s Connected Communities program in Telstra’s Baldivis and Rockingham stores.

From now until Sunday, August 26, residents are being given the chance to vote for organisations Baldivis Equestrian and Pony Club, Youth on Fire WA and Coastal Districts Care Centre to share in $5000.

Coastal Districts Care Centre

As part of Telstra’s Baldivis and Rockingham stores’ commitment to giving back to the community, the organisation with the most votes will receive $3000, while second and third place will receive $1000 each.

“We wanted to support our local community and thought it would be great to get everyone who lives and works in the region involved,” Vita Group area manager Andy Murray said.

Youth on Fire WA

“We look forward to helping give these organisations a bit of a boost.”

For the organisations involved, receiving $3000 will make a substantial difference as it will allow them to better support their members and the community.
