Rockingham detectives hunt for robbers riding a moped

Rockingham Detectives need the public’s help to identify two teenage robbers who stole from their victims while riding a moped.

The two robberies occurred in Rockingham on Tuesday, March 22.

The first incident took place around 7am on Read Street and the second occurred an hour later on Centaurus Street.

During both incidents, two young men riding a dark coloured moped threatened victims with a hammer before they stole their belongings.

The first teen was described as 15-16-years-old, approximately 173cm tall and of a slim build.

He was wearing grey tracksuit pants and a grey jumper.

The second teen was described as being 16-17-years-old, approximately 155cms tall and of a slim build.

He was wearing black tracksuit pants and a black jacket.

Police are interested in getting in contact with people who may have dash cam vision from Read Street and Centaurus Street between 7am and 8am on March 22.
