Rockingham: detectives looking for woman who robbed two Cooloongup businesses and assaulted staff

ROCKINGHAM Detectives are seeking assistance from the public regarding two robberies that occurred in Cooloongup on Tuesday .

A woman, who was pushing a baby in a pram and had a young child with her, entered a pharmacy on Elanora Drive, Cooloongup about 10.50am.

Police claim the woman selected a number of items and walked out of the pharmacy.

When confronted by a staff member, the woman punched him and spat in his face.

About 12.45pm the same day, a woman matching the same description, with a baby in a pram and a young child with her, entered a deli on Elanora Drive, Cooloongup.

Police allege the woman selected a number of items and left the store without paying.

When a staff member confronted the woman, she threw a drink bottle at her; the bottle hit the staff member’s mouth and caused her lip to bleed.

The woman was described as being olive skinned, about 25 to 30 years old, about 170cm tall with a slim build and dark curly hair tied back.
